This autumn season has been filled with so many different events that I have never gotten to participate in before. From Vans sponsoring a luncheon at PacSun HQ to being able to participate in my first sample sale ever, I really got to put in some time to just have fun. I got to see Dane Gudauskas, Tanner Gudauskas, and Patrick Gudauskas (surf team trio) autographing posters for all of the employees at PacSun. The food was really great (a huge thank you to Wahoo's) and the free gear was a huge surprise! A few weeks later I got to participate in my first sample sale event ever and it was really exciting. I managed to pick up a lot of Crooks & Castles and Young & Reckless stuff for my friends and family. The entire loot was only $18, can you believe it?
Two weeks ago I decided to randomly stop by my local Microsoft Store to see if the line for the Xbox One was crazy. Turns out, the line was shorter than I expected so I ended up waiting in life. Thinking that it wouldn't be too bad of a wait, I ended up having to stand (mall policy stated that we weren't allowed to sit on the floor) for 7.5 to 8 hours in three inch heels. Despite my swollen ankles, I managed to get a Day One edition of the console and made new friends while I was at it. I also got an awesome Xbox One backpack, hat, and 2 t-shirts for being one of the first 50 individuals in line. Will I ever do a midnight launch ever again? Maybe, but probably with sneakers and sweatpants next time.
